Working Through Christmas So Our Customers Don't Have To
While most were celebrating the holidays, our team was completing a critical infrastructure upgrade for Bay Valley Foods in Green Bay - 200 feet of custom FRP piping installation completed the day after Christmas.
The challenge: Replace 30-40 year old piping transporting acetic acid and vinegar used for pickle processing through their facility with zero production disruption.
The timeline: the Customer’s brief Christmas shutdown window.
From June's next-day quote through December's installation, this project showcased what sets fiberglass apart in food processing:
🔷 Superior chemical resistance vs. stainless steel in acidic environments
🔷 Competitive pricing with much faster order and installation timelines
🔷 Custom fabrication for complex retrofit conditions
🔷 Decades of proven service life
Nothing could be prefabricated - every section required field measurements, dry-fitting to existing hangers and elevations, and custom joint fabrication in tight spaces. This is retrofit work where real-time problem-solving matters as much as technical expertise.
Pickle production resumed immediately in the new year. That's the partnership food processors need: responsive quoting, expert engineering, and installation timing that protects operations.
When your critical infrastructure needs upgrading but downtime isn't an option, timing and focus are everything.
